God’s Word God’s Will God’s Way
There are so many times in our lives as believers that we lose the true purpose of the instruction that God gives us. We will take to commitment the action required but will not notice or adhere to the manner in which God intends for us to carry out this action. Simply put, we do what God says but don’t do it HOW He wants us to get it done! Giving is a straight forward requirement and unction for believers, but we don’t do it simply. We add the concern and weight of the conditions in which we give that it becomes a challenging chore instead of a privilege. Those that rule or govern others are not doing it with diligence. They rule will convenience and inconsistency. Rulers, whether they be presidents, governors, pastors, parents or teachers, do what is convenient to them…then they only do it when they want to and not all the time. This is not the way of God. Lastly, the bible teaches us that we should be showing mercy but doing it with cheerfulness…not angry that they need mercy…not frustrated that things don’t go our way…not selfishly not wanting to give of our time or resources.
