One Way!
It is so easy to get caught up in the little things that simply obscure a situation. What I mean is that it is so easy to complicate your situation by driving toward the wrong result. What is the wrong result?
For the purpose of simplifying the life of the believer, there is one statement that identifies the WRONG way…The way that does not lead to peace and edification.
That’s it! If what you are doing does not foster peace and/or edification for others, then you are in the wrong place and headed in the wrong direction and probably with the wrong people! PEACE is the resource by which the believer can set the atmosphere or make where they are like God. God is a God of Peace. God’s children should therefore cleave to, drive toward and be inclined to PEACE. We should want, make and manifest PEACE so that the world can see who and how God is THROUGH US. Then we also need to EDIFY others. To edify is to develop or be a benefit to other people. I love that God equips and positions us to be a blessing to other people in different ways: financially, spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally and ethically. It is not just about us! It is about other people gaining from the overflow of God’s pouring into MY life!!!!
