Leave It Alone!
To live after the flesh is to allow yourself to follow the whims and actions of the flesh. To live after the flesh means that another person’s satisfaction or peace is not your personal goal. The flesh makes decisions for you and runs your life…not God!!! If you let the flesh run your life, you will surely die eventually!!! The death and the grave are instituted for YOU! However, the men in our prayer call have commented that one mistake does not a wrongdoer make. The sin will always be there in shape or another, although we will lose the JOY of sinning that we used to have. This where the scripture in Romans 8:13 tells us that we must “mortify the deeds of the body”.
Must…what the flesh does and wants to do MUST be destroyed in your life. That is best! Don’t play with it or challenge it.
It is dangerous and will NOT serve you well! You can’t get rid of it but you can get rid of the things that it does! If we stop doing the actions of the flesh it will free up room for God to be magnified in our lives. It will clear our heads and relax us!!!! The relationship will grow. The leadership will strengthen!
