Live More Abundantly
Titus gives us two key elements to a successful life in Christ: Denying and Living.
This sounds basic, but it is so simple and self-evident that it is often overlooked and taken for granted. Every believer must consciously and systematically DENY. We must deny the very crux of our sin and shame which comes from the flesh and the world…the inside source and the outside influence. Regardless of how saved and sanctified we may be, we always have these two influences that will try to push us in the way of sin. 
That is why we must press against these influences so that we continually move in the direction of God and His will for us. Then we must consciously LIVE. We have been programmed to die from birth, but the ability to live is a choice that we must make in life and in every situation that we encounter. Living is done with moderation, clarity, understanding, holiness and living truth! That is a tall order but it is not very possible through Christ! Lastly, both denying and living are to be done in this present world. It is not ok for us to sit and wait/hide until Jesus comes back.
