Above The Law
The best criminals are the ones who function so well that they seem to be “above the law”. It does not even matter what the “law” states, they do what they intend to do with success and excellence. The fruits of the Spirit function just like that. In this life for the believer, we feel that lawful intent and understand squash our thoughts, actions and intentions. Regardless of how well we treat others, they treat us any kind of way. No matter how well we think that we are living our lives, there is always some sin that exists and there is always someone point our attention to it. No matter how much God encourages us, we still have the small voice inside that tells us that we CAN’T do it..we DON’T deserve it.
That is the law…that intellectual, world-driven force that serves to separate us from our Creator and actually try to live and think on our own recognizance! FAILURE!
The only way that we can rise above this vicious layer is to allow the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit in our lives, and we must let the overflow of His indwelling be manifested in the Fruits of the Spirit. In this we are no longer limited by the law. In this we are no longer defined, guided or constrained by the law.
